Residential
Life
A Residential Program
The CADS Summer Program is a residential program.
All participants are expected to reside on campus, in the
residence halls, during the entire three-week program, including
weekends. Each room within your assigned residence hall is
furnished. All areas in residence halls are smoke-free. If
you need special housing consideration because of a disability,
please contact the Center for Academic Development Services.
All residents are expected to adhere to the rules and
regulations of the CADS Pre-freshman Summer Program and
the Office of University Residence Halls and Apartments.
Resident Counselors (RCs) are available around the clock
to assist students with any questions or concerns regarding
appropriate conduct and the use of facilities. Additional
information about living in the residence halls is available
at the following sites:
- Safety UB is a safe community. Yet, like all communities,
you are encouraged to act responsibly toward ensuring your

(indicated by a blue light) of the residence halls. Remember
to practice safety at all times.
