Summer Program Rules & Regulations

The University reserves the right to enter rooms, without prior notice, for health and safety reasons. Students may be removed from the campus and will be dismissed from the Summer Program for any of the following infractions:

  1. Possession of illegal drugs or controlled substances
  2. Possession and/or consumption of alcoholic beverages
  3. Inappropriate sexual activity
  4. Missed Curfew (SUNDAY - THURSDAY: students MUST BE IN THE BUILDING BY 11:30 P.M. AND IN THEIR ROOMS BY 12:00 A.M. FRIDAY & SATURDAY: students must BE IN THE BUILDING BY 12:30 A.M. AND IN THEIR ROOMS BY 1:00 A.M.)
  5. Tampering with fire equipment (e.g. Fire extinguisher, fire hoses, pull boxes, etc.). When fire alarm sounds, please leave the building promptly
  6. Defacing university property
  7. Engaging in sports activities inside the building.
  8. Removal or relocation of lounge furniture
  9. Cooking in student rooms.
  10. GAMBLING on University premises

NOTE:

  • At a minimum, students are required to study, get tutored or work in the computer lab from 6:00 to 9:00 pm Sunday – Thursday.  This period should be spent studying, reading and completing assignments or working with tutors. During this time, students should be respectful of others and all noise should be kept to a minimum.

  • Room changes require prior approval.

  • Students should not be in another student's room after curfew or during study hours.

  • Visitors/guests are only permitted in the building on Friday, Saturday and Sunday until 9:30 p.m.

  • Permission must be granted to use university space.
